lately...

lately I've been...

listening to... {this song}It's on repeat. I love her voice.

watching... Meg Ryan and Sandra Bullock movies. When Harry Met Sally and The Proposal were on the list this week. Oh, and I'm slightly obsessed with Mark Ruffalo at the moment. Love him in View From the Top and Just Like Heaven. He's just a normal guy.

reading... I just finished Falling For Her Fiance by Cindi Madsen and I loved it. Loved it so much I had to re-read my favorite parts before I could put it away. I'm on a contemporary romance kick. Don't judge me.

eating... {this} It is a husband approved meal. LD wants me to make it almost every week.

drinking... Water. I'm drinking so much of it right now I'm peeing constantly. It's getting annoying.

wearing...  {this} silver open heart necklace that Sebastian got me for Christmas. It is so simple for every day wear. I love it!

feeling... "Saying YES to happiness means learning to say NO to things and people that stress you out." ~Thelma Davis

wanting... Time to stop. My baby boy will be 2 on February 2nd. He's getting so big. It's all going by too fast.

thinking... about LD's birthday coming up next week. What to get him? I don't know.

needing... to sit down and work on my novel. Every night when I go to bed I'm thinking about it, but I'm not doing anything about it.

enjoying... Reading. Books keep me sane. Sometimes I feel so close to the character's that I don't feel alone anymore.

  1. I love feeling really connected to characters too. For me, character development is the most important part in a book. The girl in 'The Book Thief' is probably the most memorable of late.

    1. I agree! The plot means nothing to me if the character development isn't there. It is the most important part.

I'm so crazy about The Book Thief! AH! Narrator is Death! What the what?!?! Have you read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne? Excellent. You must read it.
