The Proof is in the Pin

I feel like I have a good relationship with Pinterest. I enjoy it and I pin for a little bit a few nights in a row and then I'm not on for a week or two. It works. I don't ever like to feel I'm overly addicted to anything. But, I noticed I was just pinning stuff and not going back to try them out. Anybody else do this?

Here are some of the things I've tried lately::

His & Her Date Night Questions

LD is an introvert and quite soft spoken. He doesn't talk a lot and sometimes I feel like our date nights are made up of me talking and trying to keep the conversation going. Which let's face it, if I don't we'll be that couple that sits without saying anything and eats their food and everybody thinks about how sad they are.

I found these questions and thought they'd be a perfect prompt for our date. There was even a printable at the end of their post so I could take it easily with us. We had so much fun!! We went back and forth the whole night asking funny questions and some of the more serious ones LD made me tear up he was so sweet. I'll be looking for more date night stuff like this in the future.

Cream Cheese Crock Pot Chicken

I love using my crock pot and every time I do I swear I'm going to start using it more. I love the easy clean up! I also love that by the end of the day when I swear I'm too tired to cook...voila! Dinner is ready!! This recipe is just dumping a bunch of stuff in the crock pot and throwing the cans away. Thank. You.

LD has dubbed this his favorite meal. We changed the recipe a bit to use half the cream cheese and hot salsa. Gives it a little kick. We eat it with tortilla chips. I wish I could eat this every night of the week.

Have you tried any Pins lately? Let me know what is working for you! I want to start trying more of what I'm pinning. Maybe a couple of spring outfits? Since it has been forever since I've bought clothes.

Are we connected?

  1. I've seen recipes around for that chicken and I'm dying to try it... guess I'll have to have some people over soon, cuz heaven knows I can't eat an entire crock pot of chicken on my own!
