Recipe:: Snickerdoodles

I love a good soft cookie don't you? Especially when the weather has turned cold and rainy. It is time to get baking to warm up the house. I love this recipe because it is so simple. It is easy to just whip up a batch and have them ready to serve in no time. Sebastian wasn't keen on waiting too long. We munched on these all afternoon.

Snickerdoodles

1 cup Crisco
1 1/2 cups Sugar
2 eggs

2 3/4 cups Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Cream of Tarter

+

cream together Crisco, Sugar, Eggs

Add Flour mixture

Roll into balls, drop in cinnamon sugar

Bake at 325 F for 8-12 minutes

+

Enjoy!

  1. Just yesterday I opened up a new can of Crisco to use in chocolate chip cookies that I make and there was a recipe on the the lid for Snickerdoodles that I saved to try. Your recipe is easier so I think I'll try yours too and see which one I like better. : )

  2. I LOVE snickerdoodles but I have never made them myself before. :( I'm on a low calorie diet right now so I'll save your recipe for later!
